Ang Araw ng Kagitingan

The Bataan Fall, in order to resist and fight back against an invasion, many Filipinos and troops displayed incredible bravery and heroism. Despite the challenges they encountered, they fought back with vigor against the enemy.

Strength and Valor were shown during the Battle of Bataan. Around 76,000 Filipinos and Americans surrendered to Japanese forces during the Bataan Death March, Dehydration, heat prostration, untreated wounds, and indiscriminate executions claimed the lives of thousands. Only 54,000 individuals made it to their destination; the number of persons who died is difficult to estimate. Most individuals fought and suffered hardship in order to live and gain freedom, despite being tortured, beaten, and humiliated.

Some say Independence cant be claimed be the faint hearted. The soldiers on that day were far from timid and meek. The Bataan Death March illustrates that both the army and we, the Filipinos, are deserving of every ounce of liberty we possess. The Araw ng Kagitingan commemorates the valor and strength of the soldiers who fought in the Battle of Bataan.

But the world today is in a global pandemic, however this is the season to be happy. So, it is just great to have this thing wherein everybody gets along, where every person sings happily, greet and be together. Now from what's happening worldwide, we needed this Christmas magic. With this pandemic and not so great things happening across the world, we needed this break and be jolly. While we can’t meet most of our friends or families to give gifts, we can still greet them a Merry Christmas. All in all, we should work together to make the following holiday a better one. But we need to keep in mind that is Christmas is not about simply giving gifts or receiving them; it is about our Lord Jesus Christ. He is the reason why we are celebrating this season. That's is all and Merry Chri...
