A Festival during a Pandemic.

 

Vigan City, one of the Seven Wonders of the World, is such a beautiful place to spend some of your free time. The delicious Ilocano dishes, the antique 16th-century Spanish colonial architectural homes are still standing until this day and the lovely folks who are in the area. This place additionally has many festivals, just like Vigan City Fiesta held at the 25th of every January. At this festival, locals and tourists gather to witness the street dancing that will happen during the festival.

This year that we have a pandemic The Vigan City Fiesta was delayed or might not even happen this year due to the pandemic. Since the virus has a new variant called “Omnicron”, the festival is likely not going to happen.

A festival may sound nice but we should also consider other people’s safety because having a festival during a pandemic might spread the virus even more, our safety is our first priority.

A Christmas Amidst a Pandemic.

  Christmas, everybody's favorite time of the year, and we have fun it each December. We give presents, be happy, and meet with our family. These are the things that we do this in this season. But the world today is in a global pandemic, however this is the season to be happy.
