A Reflection on my Studies.

My own Reflection on my Studies

I have learned what is a blog and how to make my own blog. I have learned that a blog is also known as weblog, it is a type of website that is like a diary or journal. Blog organizes content in the form of categories and posts.

I have encountered some problems on my studies but all problems must be solved at some point of time. I have faced these problems and overcome them, but solving them alone is not so easy, I had help from my parents in overcoming these problems. A problem can be solved by someone alone but having someone else help will make the problem a lot easier to solve.

Moving on, I will keep on learning and remember all the things that I have learned.

Women's Rights are Human Rights

Women's rights are the fundamental human rights that were enshrined by the United Nations for every human being on the planet nearly 70 years ago. These rights include the right to live free from violence, slavery, and discrimination; to be educated; to own property; to vote; and to earn a fair and equal wage. As the now-famous saying goes, “women’s rights are human rights.” That is to say, women are entitled to all of these rights. Yet almost everywhere around the world, women and girls are still denied them, often simply because of their gender. Winning rights for women is about more than giving opportunities to any individual woman or girl; it is also about changing how countries and communities work. It involves changing laws and policies, winning hearts and minds, and investing in strong women’s organizations and movements. Global Fund for Women exists to support the tireless and courageous efforts of women’s groups who work every day to win rights for women and girls. These...

The Ilocano Culture

As the month of February arrives,   we are greeted with many festivals in Ilocos Sur, mainly the Kannawidan Festival. The Kannawidan Festival is  A festival in the Province of Ilocos  Sur   commemorating the separation of the two Ilocos provinces in 1818 . This festival is a showcase of indigenous performances, religious rituals, as well cooking demos featuring the best of Ilocano dishes.     The Kannawidan Ylocos Festival has a lot to offer, wherein there are shows, souvenir  shops to buy a memorable item from the festival and a Carnival. But unfortunately due to the pandemic going outside may cause more harm than good for the people. But this year, because a lot of people wanted to go to the festival,   locos Sur implemented a no vaccination card, no entry to lessen the risk of spreading the virus.      Despite the pandemic, we still need to find a way to celebrate this festival, as it's our culture, and ...

Reflecting Upon My Studies.

The Second Quarter of my studies have now come to an end, with it came the Third Quarter. During my studies on the Second Quarter, I have learned a lot that can help me in the future, this quarter also brought some challenges that I overcame, some activities that I have participated in and learned from. The HTML is the main thing that we learned during this quarter. I never knew what was the use of the HTMLs or that I would learn how to coding using them. While learning these, I found them very interesting and found myself enjoying to learn them. Learning something new is can be enjoyable but sometimes it can also be confusing. While doing them there was not really an issue, most of my activities went how it should be. Overall, this quarter was actually really fun. Because learning something new is always enjoyable. And the knowledge that I have gained during this quarter might also help me in the future.
